The International Sustainable Education and Research Network (ISREN), represented by its CEO, Dr. Abdullah Faisal Abdulaziz Al-Shulaif, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Education in the Republic of Yemen, represented by Deputy Minister Dr. Ali Al-Abab. The goal of the MoU is to establish a strategic cooperation framework that contributes to developing the educational process and building human capacity.
Both parties emphasized that the MoU is based on the importance of investing in people as the cornerstone of sustainable development. They also highlighted their commitment to building effective partnerships between national educational institutions and international experts, and to leveraging the expertise of Yemeni professionals abroad to enhance local education.
The MoU includes several key initiatives:
Developing and implementing training and qualification programs for teachers, administrators, and educational leaders.
Enhancing competencies in educational planning, quality, and leadership.
Integrating concepts of sustainable development and innovation into educational curricula.
Organizing joint events to exchange successful experiences in the education sector at both regional and international levels.
Providing technical and advisory support for capacity building and managing educational projects.
Creating an evaluation mechanism to measure impact and ensure the sustainability of the programs.
ISREN's CEO, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shulaif, praised the Ministry of Education's cooperation and its keenness to engage with global educational initiatives, stressing the importance of connecting expatriate Yemeni professionals with development efforts inside Yemen. Deputy Minister Dr. Ali Al-Abab affirmed that this partnership is a significant step toward improving the quality of education and developing educational competencies in Yemen.
