Saba Region University, represented by its Vice Presidency for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, organized an international seminar this morning titled "Scientific Research for a Safer Life: Practical Solutions and Global Experiences." The event was held as part of the university's efforts to enhance the role of scientific research in community service and sustainable development.

The seminar was attended by Dr. Hussein Al-Mousai, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. The International Sustainable Research and Education Network (ISREN) participated, graciously accepting the university's invitation. ISREN's CEO, Dr. Abdullah Faisal Al-Shalif, delivered a keynote lecture addressing the main challenges facing Yemen. He emphasized that scientific research is an indispensable necessity and reviewed inspiring international experiences where research helped countries overcome crises and achieve development.

The seminar program also included a second lecture on "Plans to Raise Performance Indicators for Researchers' Citations and Scientific Journals." This lecture highlighted the importance of joint supervision, submitting local and international research projects, building integrated research teams, and adopting innovative strategies to overcome challenges using simple technology.

The event saw broad participation from academics and researchers who enriched the discussion with their contributions. They confirmed that scientific research is a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development in Yemen and the region.
