ISREN Executive Director Participates in Concluding Conference of Yemeni Students’ Union Leaders Abroad in Marib

Marib, Yemen – September 14, 2025 – Dr. Abdullah Faisal Al-Shalif, Executive Director of the International Sustainable Research and Education Network (ISREN), participated in the concluding conference of Yemeni Students’ Union leaders abroad, held in Marib Governorate. The event was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Ministry of Higher Education and was generously sponsored by Lt. Gen. Sultan bin Ali Al-Aradah, Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Marib.

Dr. Al-Shalif’s participation came through an official invitation extended in the name of ISREN. His engagement was both active and impactful, as he highlighted the importance of building bridges of cooperation between the Network and Yemeni Students’ Unions.

On the sidelines of the conference, Dr. Al-Shalif met with several union leaders, where he was briefed on the conference’s objectives, outcomes, and achievements, particularly in enhancing coordination and integration among Yemeni Students’ Unions abroad.

Dr. Al-Shalif affirmed ISREN’s full readiness, along with its executive board members, to support this ambitious vision and to back the efforts of the Yemeni Students’ Unions in implementing it. He stressed that the Network’s accumulated expertise, together with the high caliber of its members, makes it well-positioned to contribute effectively.

ISREN’s participation reflects its ongoing mission to contribute to sustainable education and research development, while enhancing academic and student cooperation in ways that serve Yemen and its youth, both at home and overseas.
