In collaboration with the University of Sheba Province, the Malaysian University (UTHM), and the University of Science and Technology - Marib, the International Sustainable Research and Education Network (ISREN) organized a noteworthy scientific symposium today.

The event, titled "Reviews for Sustainable Research and Education in Light of the Challenges in Conflict Areas," commenced with verses from the Holy Quran, setting a reflective tone for the discussions.

Dr. Hussein Al-Musai, Vice President of the University of Sheba Province for Postgraduate Studies, extended a warm welcome to the participants, emphasizing the significance of such gatherings in fostering knowledge exchange and scientific discourse. He shared insights into the university's dedicated efforts to support and promote scientific research.

The University of Science and Technology was represented by Dr. Abdul Salam Yayeh, who commended the initiatives aimed at bolstering education and scientific research. Dr. Abdullah Al-Shaleef, CEO of ISREN, delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the International Network's establishment, work areas, upcoming projects, and envisioned collaborations with Yemeni educational institutions. He provided a detailed overview of the education landscape in Yemen and the repercussions of conflicts on academic and research endeavors.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zein, the head of ISREN, contributed to the symposium by presenting a scientific paper on strategies for advancing sustainable education under challenging circumstances. The paper explored various strategies and drew upon experiences from countries worldwide.

The symposium engaged attendees through insightful interventions, garnering praise for its outcomes and underscoring the importance of sustaining such activities. The event proved to be a valuable platform for exchanging experiences and transferring knowledge, particularly in the context of the prevailing conditions in the country.
